Mrs. Mary Smelko, age 90 of Brooksville, Florida, died Saturday, December 4, 2021 in Lecanto, FL. Mary was born September 10, 1931 in Youngstown, OH, daughter of Vince Briody and Helen McGraw. She moved to Brooksville, Florida from Ohio. Mary was a longtime resident of Hubbard, OH and worked for Truscon Steel for many years before retiring from Sparkles Market. Mary Smelko was preceded in death by husband, Edward L Smelko Sr., and son Alan K. Smelko. Survivors include daughter, Carolyn L. Blasko and husband Joseph of New Middletown, Ohio, son, Edward L Smelko, Jr. and wife Tina of Chassahowitzka, Fl, daughter-in-law, Melissa Smelko of Brooksville, Fl., and grandchildren, Joseph, Steven, Amanda, Samantha, Crystal, Jacob, and their loving families.
